Dresden General Game Playing Competition 2008

The Third Dresden General Game Playing Competition took place at the Faculty of Computer Science of TU-Dresden on 13th February 2008. Ten student teams participated with their players. Players had to compete in 7 matches of 6 different games. 48 matches were played in total. The player named LuckyLusor developed by Jan-Henrik Moß and Silvio Tschapke won the competition with a total of 500 points out of 700 possible points.

Description
A single-player game where the goal is to steer a space ship such that it stops at a certain location.

Description
A single-player game with the goal of coloring cells of two 3x3 grids with certain constraints.

Abalone

Description
A two player game on a hexagonal board. The first player to push two of the opponents pieces from the board wins.

Cooperation

Description
A very simple two player game where both players can earn 100 points but only if they cooperate.

Sheep and wolf

Description
A asymmetric two player game played on a checkers board. The goal of the sheep is to make the wolf unmovable.
