On request SCIS works out the credits for single courses.

Information on Registration to written Examinations:

  1. Registration period and dates of examinations them self will be announced on time.
  2. For the registration to an written examination you have to come to the SCIS and present your matriculation certificate (Immatrikulationsbescheinigung) .
  3. Cancellation of an written examination is possible up to three days before the date of examination. You have to announce your cancellation in writing stating your name, the name of the examination, the matriculation number.
  4. In case of illness you have to present a medical certificate to the examination board (no copy). The medical certificate must be dated either before ore immediately after the examination. It has to be in the SCIS within 21 days after the date of Examination.
  5. The results of the examinations will be announced in the SCIS during the office hours.

Information on Registration to oral Examinations:

  1. For oral examinations of DSE or CL courses/modules you have to register in the SCIS personally, and present your matriculation certificate (Immatrikulationsbescheinigung) . You have to fill in a form and in the SCIS checkes, if you fulfil the requirements for the examination.
  2. Oral exams in “German study programms†have to be arranged with the professor in charge or his secretary. Please tell them, that you are an exchange student, so that the results of the exam will be sent to the SCIS.
  3. With the documents from the SCIS you have to make an appointment with the examiner.
  4. Cancellation of an oral examination is possible 14 days before the date of examination in writing to the examiner.
  5. In case of Cancellation because of illness you have to present a medical certificate (original document, no copy) to the examination board. The medical certificate must be issued before or immediately after the examination. It has to be in the SCIS within 21 days after the date of Examination.

Information on Transcript Degrees:

SCIS issues Transcript Degrees on request and at the end of the stay. Please send a list of all examinations prior to the SCIS.
Please note that ECTS-credits for single courses can only be calculated on request by the SCIS.

 

Important

You can repeat only exams, you did not pass.
Two repeats are possible.
